Let’s talk about stress, so how can we get to analyze it?

Stress is something we all know, but it can be difficult to describe.  We know when we are stressed, or feeling stressed out, but often we think we are not stressed when the immediate stimulus has passed.


Using a symptom based questionnaire we can determine where you are in your ability to handle stress.  Where you are, determines how it should be handled.  It is not one size fits all, and in fact, approaching that way can have a negative impact.  We need to determine if your system needs support to support the stress response, or calming and nourishment to rebuild the ability to handle stress.


Stress Can Lead To:

Stress is a silent killer, and according to WebMD, can lead to: (I put in my own additions in italics)

  1. Heart disease
  2. Asthma
  3. Obesity (Especially belly fat, or what some call “beer belly”)
  4. Diabetes (I would like to add in metabolic syndrome/insulin resistance as well)
  5. Headaches
  6. Depression and anxiety
  7. Gastrointestinal problems
  8. Alzheimer’s disease
  9. Accelerated aging
  10. Premature death
  11. To add to WebMD’s list, I would like to add, hypertension, erectile dysfunction, low libido, insomnia, and even allergies.
